We had our Vice Chairman Willie Creighton visit the Woodshed to demonstrate his Swirl Bowl, all the
way from Co. Mayo. We had a full house of Ulster woodturners watch Willie's expert demonstration. Willie
finished the demo with a lamp made from some very old pine.

Willie spent some time explaining the glueing and cutting procedure, expressing the need for accuracy.
If the glueing is not correct the result will be wrong.

Turn the outside making a recess for the chuck to enable you to reverse chuck the piece

Willie had glued up another Swirl Bowl with an outside layer that would mean that the swirl would not
be seen on the outside of the bowl.
