We had John Jordan from Nashville, Tennessee for an extra demonstration in this our 25th Anniversary
year. 59 Ulster Chapter members watched John take a piece of wet beech, and turn it into a hollow form.
He then went on to describe how to mark out the form for carving and also how to do the carving, showing
us some of the tools he uses for this work. This was a very informative day where everyone who came
went away with a feeling of having learnt something.
